Halloween Bars London
Are you planning a Halloween party in London but looking for a way to put a unique spin on the celebrations? Yes, Halloween decorations typically consist of carved pumpkins, fake spider webs and people walking around with sheets over their heads pretending to be ghosts, but is there any reason why a Halloween party can’t be as cool and classy as any other party you would throw in London at any other time of the year?
With a vast range of 'Spooky venues' within London for such events don't forget the regular venues which are adapted to suite the event ie. Ministry Of Sound and The London Bridge Experience are just two of the local venues where your sure to have a great night.
Now you don’t have to abandon the Halloween decorations all together, in fact, you can still work on the orange and black theme which seems to have come from the pumpkins anyway, by hiring our backlit orange bar counter.
Are you planning an event of your own ?
If you are, then in order to attract more people and make the event a success why not raise money for charity ! As well as fun the event can help others at the same time. Try and approach local business and ask them to support your event by assisting with ticket sales and possibly donating raffel prizes etc. Don't forget 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.
When is Halloween ?
Each year halloween is on 31st October and it is celebrated in various countries around the world.
How did Halloween originate ?
Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival know as Samhain, to mark the end of the harvest in the Gaelic culture and has also been known to mar the Celtic New Year. The Celtic Pagans used the 31st October as the date upon which tey slaughtered some of their livestock for winter stores. After this date, they considered the living cattle became dangerous and may spread disease and harm to their crop. They then built bonfires onto which they would throw bones of the slaughtered animals, at these events costumes and masks were worn to copy the images they had of the Devil.
